¶ Copying studies from a disk/USB drive
If you have a storage medium (e.g., an optical disc or USB flash drive) created using the Inobitec DICOM Viewer software, you can copy medical studies from it and use them as needed: transfer to a healthcare facility, move to another storage device, send via email, etc. — for viewing in any compatible DICOM application.
Studies on such a medium are organized into folders with the following structure:
¶ Switching the Rendering Device
To switch the rendering device:
- Open the "Settings" menu → "Parameters".
- Select the "Modules" page, click on the "3D Reconstruction" module and open its settings.
- On the “Render” tab, in the “Render Device” dropdown list, select the option by priority:
›CUDA— preferred, if available.
›OpenCL— if CUDA is not present, or if an integrated graphics card is used.
›CPU(software)— if issues/errors occur with other options.
